ZIP Institute brings together young and enthusiastic people, with a common vision of helping and facilitating Macedonia’s road toward stable democracy, economic and social prosperity, and EU Integration. It strives to channel a new influential voice, originating from the perspective of representatives of both majority and non-majority ethnic groups in Macedonia.
Agim Selami, Project Manager / Researcher:
Holds a Master degree in Public Policy and Decentralized Governance from the Central European University in Budapest,Hungary. He has 4 years of working experience in the nongovernmental sector in Macedonia the areas like youth, policy research, project writing, and project management. He has substantial working experience in working with local governments with a focus on local economic development.
Nazlije Iseni, Project Coordinator:
Nazlije is a MA Software Engineering and Telecommunications candidate at the South East European University in Skopje. She gained a bachelor degree in Business Informatics at the Faculty of Contemporary Sciences and Technology at SEEU – Skopje. Her previous work experience includes Web Content Designer and Project Assistant at Strategic Development Consulting under Establishment of businesses inclusion project in the multi-ethnic communities. Her main focus is on effective project coordination and management of NGO’s webpage and social media. By doing so Nazlije ensures that information on completed and ongoing activities of the projects are spread and are useful for the youth of ethnic minorities.
Gazmend Ibrahimi, Intern:
Gazmend Ibrahimi is a Bachelor’s degree Human Resource Management student at the Faculty of Management at Sakarya University, Turkey. His previous and current work experience includes two internships of the management field in the private and public sector, english-to-turkish and albanian-to-macedonian translations for a publishing house in Skopje, NGOs in Skopje and for a freelance professional cv check uper in Istanbul. His focus of interests is at different fields, such as: management, leadership, team work, organization, economy, international politics, history, democratization and international cooperation.
Ana Stojilovska, Research Associate:
Holds a Master in European Studies obtained at the Europa-Kolleg Hamburg, University Hamburg. Her previous academic experience includes studies in social sciences in Skopje, Graz, and Berlin, all of which were supported by scholarships. Has gained significant experience in project management and research through the work as Research Fellow at Analytica Think Tank, Skopje. Her previous work experience includes posts in the public and private sector in Macedonia and abroad including internship at the German Parliament and position of Visiting Research Fellow at the Association for International Affairs, Czech Republic. Author of several policy papers. Areas of research and interest: energy policy, local economic development, social business. Solid analytical, research, communication and organizational skills. Speaks fluently English and German.
